Herons
Herons are a long-legged and sharp-beaked wading bird. They differ from similar-looking species such as storks and cranes as they fly with their necks outstretched. Their feathers are usually blue, black, grey and white. They exist on all continents except Antarctica. Their main food source is live aquatic prey including fish, reptiles and amphibians, causing damage to ornamental ponds and fisheries in gardens.
